Kevin Olsen - "Payments Professor" AAP, APRP, CHPC, NCP

For the greater part of the past two decades, Kevin has been managing development and delivery of education services, including in-person classes, web conferences, and webcasts. Kevin develops programs, presentations, and articles designed to orient and educate financial professionals on a multitude of electronic payment topics. As the Payments Professor, Kevin brings enthusiasm and motivation to presentations. Viewing the world as a classroom, which is exemplified by the professor’s “edutainment” style of training, Kevin seeks to educate and inform all on the latest developments in the fascinating world of electronic payments.

Kevin Olsen is a certified AAP (Accredited ACH Professional), APRP (Accredited Payments Risk Professional), NCP (National Check Professional), as well as a certified NCP Instructor with additional computer network, database, and security settings. Over the past couple decades, Kevin has been involved with product creation, design, implementation, education, and consulting for multiple platforms within remote deposit capture, ACH, and faster payments. Kevin has worked with financial institutions of all sizes in multiple countries to create products services, departments, systems, teams, and results that help financial institutions become more productive, compliant, and secure.

Wanda Downs - AAP, APRP, NCP

Wanda Downs has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial industry, including customer/member service, lending, operations, accounting, and management. She has been responsible for the development and delivery of product user manuals and electronic payments education, including in-person classes, web conferences, and webcasts. Wanda has a passion for learning and an enthusiastic willingness to share her knowledge. Wanda understands the challenges and opportunities facing stakeholders in the payments industry.

Wanda holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from Limestone College and is a graduate of the 1999 CUNA’s SRCUS of Management. Wanda earned her AAP in 2009. In 2018, she earned Nacha’s Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) certification, ECCHO’s National Check Professional (NCP) Certification and became a certified NCP trainer.
